1: 9260 Steel Introduction
    AISI 9260 steel is the good old AISI 1060 spring steel with added Silicone(Si), whole ~2% of it. That makes 9260 much more shock resistant and tougher than AISI 1060 steel. Therefore, 9260 becomes a better choice for large, hard use blades, and indeed, it is a popular choice for sword making
