Hot Rolled 22Mn6 Steel Round Bar

1: 22Mn6 steel introduction
     It's an alloy structural steel. This alloy steel has medium strength, high plasticity when cold deformation, good low temperature performance, weldability and machinability. Compared with the corresponding carbon content of carbon steel, its hardenability is higher, and the critical quenching diameter in the oil is up to 4\~15mm, but there is overheating, decarbonization sensitivity and tempering brittleness tendency during heat treatment.

Application	22Mn6 is commonly used to manufacture carburized parts with less than 50mm diameter and surface and core requirements, such as pinion, shaft and piston pin in the manufacture of automobiles, tractors and machine tools 2. In addition, in hot rolled and normalizing state, this steel can also be used in the manufacture of riveted welders, screws and nuts.
