1: AISI A36 steel introduction
A36 is a mild steel. It has a final tensile strength of 58 and a yield tensile strength of 36. A36 is relatively ductile and can be stretched to about 20% of its original length during tensile testing. Its ductility and strength also give it good impact strength at room temperature.

The mechanical properties mainly include tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, area or reduction, hardness, impact value, non-metalic inclusion etc. Different heat treatment, the mechanical properties will be different, such as normalized, tempered, QT. 6. AISI A36 Steel Heat Treatment
Hardening, which takes place in the range 788 °C to 816 °C
Stress relieving, which takes place in the range 677 °C to 927 °C
7: Delivery condition
For hot forged or hot rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged or rolled, annealed, rough turned.
For hot forged plate, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed, milled surface.
For hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, black surface.
