1: SCM415 steel introduction
SCM415 steel round bar is a kind of  Low carbon and Cr-Mo heat treated by surface hardening process, use for gears and wear resistant parts with tough cores.
Generally, it is carburized for use. It has more strength than S45C or SCM440. Surface hardness should be between 55 and 60HRC for use.

For hot forged or hot rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged or rolled, annealed, rough turned.
For hot forged plate, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed, milled surface.
For hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, black surface.
