1: M41 steel introduction
M41 high speed steel is a high quality high speed cutting steel with excellent cutting performance and wear resistance.M41 HSS has excellent hardness and cutting performance and is suitable for processes such as high speed milling, drilling and threading. Its high carbon content and suitable alloying element ratios ensure high hardness and wear resistance.M41 HSS has good machinability properties, including ease of cutting, resistance to high-temperature adhesion and thermal shock. During the cutting process, it is able to maintain low cutting forces and cutting temperatures, improving machining efficiency and quality.

6: Heat Treatment
Heat Processing Treatment:
Starting temperature 1040~1150°C, termination temperature 930°C;
Annealing Specification:
Annealing temperature 870~900ºC, post-annealing temperature 235~369HBS;
Hardening And Tempering:
Preheating temperature 732~843ºC, quenching temperature salt bath furnace 1204ºC, controlled atmosphere furnace 1216ºC. Quenching medium is oil, air cooling or salt bath. Tempering temperature 540~600ºC, hardness after tempering 65~60HRC.
For hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, black surface.
