1: 20CrS4 steel introduction
     20CrS4 is an alloy structural steel, belonging to the German standard steel grade . Specifically, the 20CrS4 steel number corresponds to the European standard DIN EN 17210-1986 or EN 10277-2018, and its digital grade is 1.7028. This steel is a surface hardened alloy steel with a specific chemical composition range, such as carbon (C) content between 0.17% and 0.23%, chromium (Cr) content between 0.9% and 1.2%, and the content of other alloying elements are also specified.
20CrS4 steel has excellent mechanical properties, suitable for a variety of heat treatment conditions, such as softening annealing and peeling, ferritic-pearlite structure, etc., its hardness range is also different. In addition, 20CrS4 steel is often used in the manufacture of mechanical parts requiring carburizing treatment, because of its good hardenability and carburizing properties, can meet the requirements of high strength and high wear resistance.
